The Tale of Two Tables-Fall in the Making!

The weather is cooler here today and gave a little incentive to start some fall decorating.  We have two table that are prominent when we enter our home.  This one is in our dining room.  I have a decided different theme for both.  This one has a beautiful golden mum which I have sitting in an old feeding bucket for baby calves.  It sits upon an old box and has the wooden scoop used for feeding cattle in its day!

The barn sign has found a new home on the old trunk and near the vintage scale.  A true Farm Scene!

This is a great close up of the old bucket and pretty mum!

We then move on into the kitchen eating area.  I recently painted an old tool caddy and it has found a new home with being the center of the attention for the table.  We have a rather long farmhouse table in this room so it will accommodate this large of a piece.

This setting also has a story.  The old wire spool was found in our barn.  You can see its pretty patina.  The tool caddy is filled with flowers and it was placed on an autumn quilt.

The tool caddy was painted in one of my favorite black and white/cream check pattern.  We added some folk art flowers to the sides.

Quite different looks but it all blends together!  Happy Fall Beginnings!
