Sunday Morning Tea Donuts~Just like Mom's

No matter where you go the comforts of home can go with you.  This recipe for Sunday Morning Tea Donuts is one of those comforts.

Our home away from home is truly a  beautiful part of the US to spend the winter months.  The ocean close by, warm weather, and beautiful flowers, but still it is not quite home.  I did bring my recipe box with lots of comfort food recipes so there are still those thoughts of home that have come with me.

It has been difficult to find a good donut shop where we are.  I pulled out the recipe box and found my mother's tea donut recipe.  It is a yeast dough recipe and then glazed with a powdered sugar glaze.  Donuts are certainly NOT a health food, but definitely a comfort food!

They certainly taste pretty yummy with a hot cup of tea.  To make it a bit healthier, we ate some fresh strawberries with them!  LOL
