Candle Light, Lamp Light, Cozy Lights

Even in the Summertime I enjoy having a warm cozy home which welcomes all who enter.  There are candle lamps lit in the windows of our home.  What is it about soft light that soothes the soul?  (Could it just possibly be the light of the World?)

One of my favorite little shops has the dipped silicone lights and recently she had those in a star shape.  It creates such a soft glow.  It even matches the valance above the kitchen sink.  These pictures were taken just as the new morning light entered our home.

Since I have retired I find arising early is still something that I enjoy doing.  Walking through our home with the soft lights on is a great way to start the day.

As you can see the new morning light is just starting to come through the window.  In the picture below, I have a wreath hanging on a hand-painted privacy screen.  The soft light on the wreath is a great way to say "Home Sweet Home."

The little primitive angel is greeting the new day with the soft lights on the double washtubs.  

What better way to start your day!  WELCOME Home!!
