Proverbs 31 is one of my very favorite passages of scripture! Verse 10 reads "Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies." I have worked in our garden almost every day this summer. The garden has many life lessons. As I was picking our tomatoes this verse of scripture came to mind. The tomatoes have been such a beautiful red color, which reminds of little gems of rubies!
Some have a little blemish that has to be cut out before using. Isn't that again a picture of our lives. Before we can truly be used by our Lord, sometimes our "blemishes" must be cut out of our lives. Tender loving care must be given to those tomato plants daily! It reminds me we should read the Bible daily to grow strong so that we can produce "good fruit."

Just like us, they each have their own personality and their own beauty. As you can see each one is a little different. Each have a different shape and size no two are alike.

Just like the bountiful harvest of tomatoes, our lives can bring forth this beauty, which is "...far above Rubies" have a beautiful Sunday!
