I just love the colors of fall! The trees are just starting to turn and this day has been quite cool so it is a taste of what is to come. In a couple of weeks this landscape will look totally different.
The pumpkins make a very nice contrast with the greens and the vibrant colors.
What a glorious show these flowers provide! A true feast for the eyes. It is as if they know their days are numbered and they want to provide as much beauty as they can before the extreme cold weather hits! I have had success in the past of keeping mums over the winter but it always remains to be seen if they will come back to life!
The sweet little pansy and the Kale add a nice contrast to the mums.
Danville Gardens in Danville, IL is a true garden lovers delight. Here are just a couple of pics of the inside of the Greenhouse. They have a potting shed built right inside!
From the Green House to the Bean House we trust you will have the opportunity to enjoy this beauty in your own surroundings! You don't need to live on a farm to do so, creating beauty where you are is the secret!
Blessings this day, Lynn
