Amazingly, this picture was taken the first week of November here in Indiana! Our garden outdid all expectations. The above is 1/2 bushel of mostly green and some turning red tomatoes. So, what do you do with all of these little gems? Certainly, I did not want them to go to waste.
Not only were the tomatoes still ripening, but the zinnias were still quite pretty. The tomato vines had intermingled with these very pretty flowers.
The following are five things I would like to share with what can be done with green tomatoes.
1. Let them ripen naturally. The following was written by Pick your own.org
How to ripen green tomatoes indoors
This site has a very simple trick to help them ripen. She suggested just sitting them on the counter to ripen. My kind of gardening! Easy!
2. Use some to make fried Green tomatoes.

4. This one sounds very interesting! Green Tomato Mayonnaise
5. Green Tomato Salsa
