This candle wreath is subdued natural colors. It reminds me of Thanksgiving and November. It has been made with all natural materials of what I could pick up and snip around our home away from home. Most admittedly it is not the vibrant color that I usually fall for, but a calm quiet color reflective of the month we are in.
It is made up of Holly leaves and berries, magnolia branches, magnolia seed pods, and Spanish moss.
The natural supplies were gathered together.
This concept could easily be translated to evergreen branches and pinecones.
The branches and pods were tied together with a strong hemp like string.
The branches and pods were tied together fashioned into a circle.
Before the pods were tied into the arrangement they were soaked in warm water to remove all of the potential insects and dirt.
I had on hands handmade pottery painted in a magnolia pattern. A battery candle was placed in the wreath.
The fall leaves I had received as part of my teacup gift were added to the wreath.
Pretty amber goblets round out the table vignette.
The arrangement found a final home on the side table. It provides a soft subtle hint of Thanksgiving in our home away from home.
Such fun to create with very little cost. Just a few snips of pretty branches and berries and a pretty vignette is born! Have a beautiful day!
