A Re-purposed plant holder

I have a new favorite thrift store.  I had never been in a Habitat for Humanity thrift store until this last weekend.  There are some wonderful treasures to be found!  Such as this vintage copper with metal flowers plant holder.  It has a wonderful pink chippy patina.  It has found its new home on our coffee table.  Re-purpose at its best!

The copper is peeking through just a bit and the chippy pink paint is just perfect for a spring vignette.

First, a piece of the vintage curtain was cut into pieces to make table toppers.  The Battenburg lace is still in quite good shape and adds a sweet touch to the scene.
Some of the flowers from the recent ladies retreat project were added.  Another score were three pineapple lanterns.  One of the smaller ones was placed on one end of the piece.  You can't judge a book by its cover.  This book was just a plain paperback.  It was given new life by painting it with a pretty spring rose.

Painting is becoming one of my new passions!  The whole vignette in front of the loveseat makes my heart sing!

I want to find the perfect little bunny to join this new table.  Spring can't be too far away!  Enjoy your day.
