I have seen several ideas for making cabbage for a spring arrangement. I had some paper clay on hands and decided to make a cabbage for our Easter table.
The paper clay was placed over a bowl which had been covered with plastic. A real cabbage leaf was pressed into the clay to mimic the cabbage. It took about 2 days for it to become completely dry. A leaf green paint was applied and then it was sealed with varnish.
A trip to the dollar store was in order. A glass vase was found for one dollar and then bunnies on a stick and flowers round out the look. It makes a bright addition to our table. Thanks so much for looking and have a great Easter!
