The old Vintage Blackboard

via InstagramThis old vintage blackboard today holds an apple wreath and is decorated for the season. It resides in the ❤️ of the home our kitchen and dining area. When the grands come we play school, they use their creative skills and make beautiful art work and just plain have fun. To me it is a special spot because of them!😍. Sharing today for #itsadecorthing #thefriendlysisters I am sure they would welcome a share from any that have time! Happy Tuesday! @alliedawnshouse

  • I just never tire of the hand painted tool box and old cutting board! I can just imagine this rustic old tool box being used to create beauty! It now has a place of honor sitting atop a well used and loved cutting board on the table. The box holds napkins, trays or whatever for the season. It does add a little beauty in my gay as I pass through the kitchen! Thanks to Leslie for asking me for a new tag #ILoveRepurposedDecor have a beautiful day!

  • Well, I am starting to turn the corner! Fall is almost upon us! Our little wash tub sideboard was the starting place. I don't about you but I love the look of dried flowers. I try to dry and save as many as I can. They have a wonderful patina in fall settings. Nothing has been at least recently purchased here. The glass candle jar is an upcycled piece. I broke the lid so repurposed it Pretty fall pears were placed in the bottom to lift it a bit. The topper was a thrift find. The glass jar on the left I repurposed and painted. Have a just lovely Tuesday my friends! Kim @blessedemptynest asked if I would like to share for a couple of tags. Thank you my sweet friend! πŸπŸΏπŸ‚πŸΏ

  • Has anyone else but me kept their old TV to use with VCR tapes? I painted this old metal cabinet to hold the old TV and the numerous old tapes! The grandkids love to gather in front of it eat popcorn and watch the old movies their dads did. The cabinet was a vintage old white metal with one shelf. I simply drilled a hole in the back to run the electrical which makes it functional for this purpose! Have a wonderful day my friends! Leslie @its.all.about.thyme tagged me for #
