Sing with Thanksgiving!

During our rest time I have had a little more time to paint.  In the area we are in there are many pieces of palm fronds which makes a great medium to paint.  This is such a one.  Instead of painting the more traditional colors a softer option was chosen.
The frond is an irregular piece of wood.  It is rustic around the edges but with the soft paint gives it a shabby look.  It is paired with a pretty teacup and saucer.

What better way to express Thanksgiving than with singing!  And what better way to portray singing than with a sweet little birdie.  She is resting on a sweet little teacup painted with dainty soft roses in blues and a touch of soft rose.

An open airy curtain sways in the breeze when the birdie sings.

The Teacup and saucer are a sweet pattern which complements the art.

My heart is singing with Thanksgiving!  Have a beautiful day...Lynn
