A Window Tale

This view is through our dining room window onto the front porch.  The tales this old barn door could tell if it could talk.  It would probably talk about all the storms it's weathered and all the black Angus cows it has seen as well as dairy cows.  It would most likely talk about a Grandfather, a dad and an Uncle who cared for it when it was most needed.  Now this day I get to see it every day.  It has a place of honor on our front porch and reminds me of all the labor and sweet memories of the past.

Thinking and praying for all those in harm's way still today from our recent storms and those looming.  Also thinking of those in the thick of the fire. Praying that our Nation will stay strong and weather our storms just like this old barn door!
