Vintage Summer

What does April Cornell, Vintage hand painted glass wear, and a Vintage table cloth have in common?  They all go together!  I have been waiting for the perfect time to use the stem wear.  The April Cornell napkins go well with the colors.  The sweet dishes came from Jeffery Alan.  It has been a LONG HOT summer here in Indiana, but the last few days have been a blessed relief!  Not much rain, but certainly more pleasant temperatures.  I have set the table in our kitchen area and it brings a smile to my face when I walk into the room.

I have also started a new project of writing our menus on a vintage blackboard.  It has been great to see what I have planned for our evening meal at a glance!

Please join me for a look at Tablescape Thursday

This table is so adorable...your color scheme is very transition (since fall will be here soon!) and I love your chalk board menu idea...Pizza night sounds good to me. Our pizza night is Saturday. Very inviting tablescape!!!

What a pretty table! Your colors are wonderful. You seem to have set the mood for summer and yet the hint of fall to come.

What a pretty colorful table! Were all the flowers from your garden? I loved your vintage chalk board, I'm going to borrow that idea! If you get a chance please stop by our teatime giveaway, the Mom from Cottage and Broome.

I'm so glad you finally got a chance to use all your great pieces together!!! Hope you guys in Indiana find some weather relief soon. We in Missouri have been blessed with lots of rain over the last week or so following a horrible dry spell. It's almost TOO wet, now! I hope some of this rain finds its way to your house! Take care!
