Quaker Hill Farm has had plenty of chickens and roosters in its day! However, I am settling for a much tamer much less work variety! We had a very dated cabinet which I really wanted to try a chalk paint technique. I love to try my hand a various ideas and thought a Rooster sitting atop would be the right touch....so he was painted and given a very prominent place on the Farm! The lamp I received as a Christmas gift from my husband many years ago. It was also very dated as you will see in one of the Pics below.
The front of the cabinet had multiple plain Jane knobs. I had several one of a kind or two of a kind knobs which I had purchased at Hobby Lobby a few years back. The old was out at the new knobs were in! What a difference in the little plain Jane cabinet, which now is the focal point in our Family room! Blessings to you as you look at this new rooster!
Wishing you a blessed day! I am linking this post to "A Stroll Thru Life", Dream. Create. Inspire, and Stonegable
