Making Memories Tea Party!

We love to have impromptu teas when my little granddaughter comes to visit.  We decided to gather our tea things and have it among the flowers on the front porch.  We chose one corner that has lots of fun colors.

One doesn't have to use anything fancy.  The table cover is actually a cafe curtain with some really pretty lace on the edge.  It looks so pretty on this small round table.

I have a child size tea set in our guest bedroom.  We chose this set to have our tea.  It is so much fun to let my granddaughter help me.  She arranged the cucumber tea sandwiches and helped to arrange the table.

She definitely had an opinion which way it looked the best!

We decided to make cute lemon/dill cucumber sandwiches and have a bit of fruit.  She helped to make the sandwiches and decided how to stack them on the plate.  You can find the recipe we used to make the sandwiches here .

We had a strawberry fusion as our tea.  Red grapes were also chosen.

It was a warm beautiful summer day!   She chose one of my many hats and we had a great time talking and taking our tea together!  Truly a day to make a memory!

We chose this sweet little plate for our grapes!

Making memories one tea at a time!  Have a beautiful day!
