Oasis in the Desert soft soap containers and Lucious Lemon Salt Scrub

Putting it altogether is a lot of fun!  The Oasis in the Desert retreat is coming soon and the decorations are just about complete for the women's restrooms.  The goal has been to make it seem like a spa retreat, simply put an oasis!

A couple of posts ago I showed how palm bark was being used as a planter.  I wanted to give the plants enough time to root.  This is how it looks at this time.  We still have about a week for them to mature a little more.  To make this restroom decor very special aqua touches and homemade items were added.  A delicious lemony salt scrub was made and a little wooden spoon added to dip just a small amount for a great feel to the hands.

The recipe is very simple.  It takes 1 cup of Epsom salts plus I added about 2 tablespoons of pink Himalayan sea salt to the mix.  Next came 1/2 cup of Grape-seed oil, and finally 8 drops of lemon essential oil. That is all there is to it!  It smells heavenly and feels so silky smooth on your hands.

A very pretty aqua color soap dispenser was found and a great smelling hand soap called Coconut and Mango was used to fill the dispenser.  Hand crafted tags were added to the soap bottles for a custom look.

A few more finishing touches and it will soon be done.  NOW for transporting everything to the event without dropping it or breaking it!

Linking to the following lovely parties.
